This is the first “People Who Plussed” article. This series will showcase people from inside Studio+ and the amazing people we work with, to highlight their careers and show just how much they have “Plussed” their lives and careers.

We couldn’t be more proud of the first person we are shining a light on. He is the President of Studio+, the Co-CEO of Picture Business International and is a driving force for us to be on the forefront of whatever we do.

Becoming a member of the Producers Guild of America is something most producers aspire to and that aspiration was no different for our very own Anthony Salamon. Anthony was admitted into the illustrious guild this week and couldn’t be happier.

Anthony’s time as a Development Producer, Creative Producer, Executive Producer, and entrepreneur finally garnered him admittance to the industry union.

Anthony is passionate about the environment, and upon joining the PGA, he immediately joined the PGA Green Committee - established in 2008 as part of the Guild’s commitment to actively encourage and support sustainability in the entertainment industry.

Being active in the producer community is very important to Anthony, and so not only did he join the PGA Green Committee, but he also joined these other PGA member committees:

• Documentary & Non-Fiction – supports and promotes documentary and non-fiction storytelling across all media.
• Education – dedicated to providing membership with the tools needed to advance Guild members’ careers.
• Mentoring – dedicated to helping members advance their careers through professional mentoring.

Anthony is also a published author and screenplay writer and is represented by Sherry Robb of the Robb Company.
